This dude worked for “anti-smoking” organization. Obama wants him to be Deputy Secretary to the Department of Health and Human Services. He would report to Tom Daschle who is Secretary for the Department of Health and Human Services.
Why this appointment matters:
because the Dept of H&H Services will be pivotal in creating new policies/procedures/laws in Obama’s push to reform healthcare.
